OCAPS was formed to promote the interaction of Armenians in our community who want to share cultural, educational, philanthropic and social interests.  We hope to foster interest in the cultural heritage of the Armenian people, to meet and socialize with other Armenians, to fund our philanthropic efforts in Armenia, to promote the prestige of Armenian professionals, and to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Armenians.  We are funded through contributions and membership dues and are driven to provide the best opportunities for our members.

You are a member of the organization and would like to contribute some of your time to help our organization?  Get personally involved!  Like any volunteer organization, OCAPS depends upon its membership and Executive Council members for the continued success of the organization.  We are looking for enthusiastic members to get personally involved by joining the Executive Council where creative ideas, plans and preparations come together to make our functions and our organization’s goals a success.

There are various areas that may interest you which focus on cultural, educational, social, philanthropic, membership and public relations aspects of our organization.  So, pick your niche, roll up your sleeves and join in. We welcome your personal participation! You can contribute as much or as little time as you prefer.

Your contribution of time to the Executive Council can be a very rewarding experience.  You will quickly develop personal friendships with the council members that will be everlasting, and have a great time in the process.  Moreover, your involvement will improve the quality of our organization by sharing your talents.
